E-Mini S&P 500

E-mini S&P 500 Index futures rose on Friday, recovering some losses from the wicked sell-off earlier in the week on hopes of more stimulus from central banks to reverse slowing growth.
A slight rebound in U.S. Treasury yields helped underpin the index by providing support for bank stocks. Equities received an additional boost after a report that Germany’s government would be prepared to ditch its balanced budget rule and take on new debt to counter a possible recession.
On Friday, E-mini S&P 500 Index futures settled at 2891.50, up 43.00 or +1.49%.

Nvidia was indicated to open up 6.1% in pre-market trade, while Taiwan Semiconductor was up 2.6% and Intel was up 1.3%. Advanced Micro Devices rose 3.4%

Hong Kong stocks ended firmer on Friday, but posted their fourth straight weekly decline as sentiment wilted amid worries over global economic slowdown, the Sino-U.S. bruising tariff tussle and violent protests that threatened the island city’s economy.

The Hang Seng index ended up 0.9% at 25,734.22. For the week, HSI closed 0.8% lower.
