HSI Futures

The S&P 500 ended slightly lower on Friday as investors braced for potential damage from Hurricane Irma as it moved toward Florida, while a decline in big tech names like Apple and Facebook pushed the Nasdaq down more sharply.

Hong Kong stocks rose on Friday, helped by expectations China’s economic growth will remain solid, but they were still down for the week as investors who worried about North Korea tread warily.

Plan A : Above 27765, do nothing
Plan B : Below 27584, do nothing
Plan C : Attempt buying if market trades steadily above 27620
Plan D : Cut below 27584
Plan E : Consider selling if market gap up but fails to breach above 27765
Plan F : Cut above 27841


FKLI

FKLI traded in a tight 4-points range last Friday before settling at 1771.5. Market is expected to open firm today, following in tandem with regional markets. Geopolitical tension in North Korea will continue to drag but FKLI look likely to remain rather firm for the time being.

Plan A : Remain buying as long as market stays above 1770
Plan B : Exit below 1768
Plan C : Consider selling if market surges but fails to breach above 1777
Plan D : Cut above 1782


FCPO

CBOT soybean oil were down on profit taking activities last Friday. Dalian came through unscathed with RM back to 4.20 against the greenback. FCPO came close to breaching above 2800 level but failed twice last week. Another attempt could happen today if it could trade firmly above 2751. Otherwise profit taking activities might kick in for FCPO as well.

Plan A : Buy if market supported well above 2751. Targets are 2763, 2777, 2790 and 2802.
Plan B : Sell if market resisted around 2777. Targets are 2763, 2751 and 2742.
