U.S. stocks finished sharply lower on Tuesday after a surprisingly wide March U.S. trade deficit raised concerns that the economy shrank in the first quarter.
Hong Kong shares closed at their lowest in two weeks on Tuesday, with the tumble led by listed Chinese enterprises, as investors took their cue from a sell-off in mainland markets. HSBC services PMI due at 9.45 am this morning will shed some lights on activity in China's services sector. Japan market is close for Constitution Day today.

Market remained sluggish despite recovered from an intraday low of 1809 and settled at 1820.5 for the day. Bear tone started to kick in with futures trading at 7-points discount to the cash market. Although firmer crude palm oil could lend some supports to the market, sentiment could be dampened with regional markets showing signs of tiredness.

Market caught sellers by surprise yesterday after opening gap up in the morning and never really retraced after that. FCPO look likely to open higher once again today after overnight bean traded higher and Dalian too performing well today. Stronger Ringgit could limit upside today but market should be supported overall.
