HSI Futures

U.S. stocks were lower on Tuesday, with cyclical sectors leading the day's decline following weak data out of Germany that adding to growing concerns over the pace of global economic growth.

Hong Kong shares finished higher for a third day in a row on Tuesday, with investor confidence recovering as pro-democracy demonstrations eased in the wake of a meeting between protest leaders and government officials. However, attention will fall on China where market resume today after a week long holiday. PMI data due for released at 9.45 am this morning too will be focus for the day together with U.S. FOMC meeting minutes releasing later tonight.

Plan A : 23118-23592, do nothing
Plan B : Below 23118, cut
Plan C : Above 23592, consider taking profits if it couldn't hold firm
Plan D : Consider intraday sell if market fails to break above 23543
Plan E : Cut above 23592


FKLI

Market tumbled after failing to hold above 1839 yesterday. Market was visibly weak despite firmer RM. Market is expected to remain weak today after overnight Dow lost 272-points in a broad sell down. 

Holding short
Plan A : 1803-1839, do nothing
Plan B : Below 1803, consider taking profits
Plan C : Above 1839, cover short
Plan D : Consider intraday buy only if market stubbornly holds above 1822
Plan E : Cut below 1815


FCPO

FCPO could not sustain the gap up and started to slip to low of 2176 after opening hour. Market shows some weakness in chart and there are possibilities that market might start to consolidate or it might start to dive. With ringgit holding at RM3.26 against greenback, market may lean towards consolidation.

Plan A : Overnight seller hold on to position. Resistance is 2212. Target is 2120.
Plan B : Intraday investor may range trade within 2204 to 2143.
Plan C : Long term buyer may stay out.
Plan D : Above 2220, do nothing.
Plan E : Below 2140, do nothing.
