Hong Kong shares finished higher on Thursday, buoyed by gains in global markets on expectations that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates low for a longer period. Taiwan market is closed for National Day celebration today.

All focus will be on today's Budget Day announcement for Malaysia. Market attempted to stay resilient yesterday but heavy sell down in overnight Dow is going to distort further recovery. Market is expected to open gap down, catching many bulls with fading hopes today.

Plan A : Attempt selling around 1828 level
Plan B : Cut above 1835
Plan C : Intraday buying can only be considered if market were to hold firm above 1815
Plan D : Cut below 1810

FCPO

Investor rendered with surprise in the second session yesterday with a leap after a downturn in the morning. High at 2218 was not sustainable and it eventually slipped back to the consolidation range. Ringgit rebounded to RM3.25 and today is the day for the release of MPOB data. Therefore, market might be a bit wild today.

Plan A : Overnight seller might have exited yesterday as resistance at 2212 is breached. If you have not, resistance is 2230 and target is 2120.
Plan B : Intraday investor may range trade within 2230 to 2176.
Plan C : Buyer stay out.
Plan D : Above 2230, do nothing.
Plan E : Below 2160, do nothing.
