All major stock indexes ended higher on Tuesday as risk appetite improved broadly and Treasury yields fell on rising optimism that the Federal Reserve is closer to paring back the pace of its aggressive monetary tightening.

HSI
Shares in Hong Kong fell 15 points to close at 15,165.6 on Tuesday, declining for the fifth day and trading near its lowest since April 2009, amid fears that China will sacrifice economic growth for ideology and stick with its zero-COVID policy under President Xi Jinping's third term.

WTI Crude
Oil prices edged higher on Tuesday, rebounding from an early fall of more than $1 a barrel, on a lift from a weaker dollar and supply concerns highlighted by Saudi Arabia's energy minister.

Gold
Gold reversed course to trade higher after the dollar fell as weakness in the U.S. economy fuelled expectations the Federal Reserve would likely slow the pace of its interest rate hikes.
