E-Mini Dow


U.S. stocks climbed on Monday, with the Nasdaq jumping more than 1% as a retreat in U.S. Treasury yields helped lift expensive stocks in sectors such as technology as investors attempt to gauge the trajectory of inflation. The Dow rose 186-points while S&P 500 gained 41-points.

E-Mini S&P 500

U.S. stocks climbed on Monday as the technology sector and shares benefiting the most from the economic reopening led the advance.

The S&P 500 gained 1% to 4,197.05, boosted by the tech and communication services sectors. 

Wall Street came off a negative week for the blue-chip Dow and the S&P 500 as the market’s rally to records stalled. The Dow dipped just 0.5% on the week, while the S&P lost just 0.4%. The Nasdaq Composite, meanwhile, gained 0.31% last week, snapping a four-week losing streak.

E-Mini Nasdaq

U.S. stock futures were slightly higher in early morning trading on Tuesday following a strong session led by technology shares and reopening plays.

The Nasdaq Composite popped 1.4% to 13,661.17 as Alphabet, Facebook and Microsoft all jumped more than 2%.

Bitcoin’s recent rout also stabilized on Monday. The cryptocurrency dropped below $32,000 on Sunday, only to recover about 17% to above $39,000 on Monday, according to Coin Metrics.

AutoZone, Nordstrom, Toll Brothers, Agilent, Intuit and Urban Outfitters report quarterly earnings on Tuesday.

HSI

Hong Kong stocks closed lower on Monday, as materials firms slid after China stepped up intervention in the commodities market, even as cryptocurrency-related stocks dived after Beijing's latest crackdown.

WTI Crude
