The New York Stock Exchange close its doors early on Wednesday and remain shut on Thursday for the Fourth of July holiday.

European shares traded higher on bets for further monetary policy easing, while Asian stocks ended lower as they priced in concerns over a new list of European products that the U.S. could target with tariffs, announced while the region’s markets were closed Tuesday.

E-Mini S&P 500

Stocks in Asia were muted on Friday afternoon ahead of the release of the U.S. non-farm payrolls report, which may provide clues as to whether the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates at its July monetary policy meeting.

U.S. market remain closed on Thursday in observance of the Independence Day.

S&P 500 futures continue to surge over the holiday and visited the high at 3006.00, not showing any sign of retrace though buying interest started to shrink.

The New York Stock Exchange remain shut on Thursday for the Fourth of July holiday. 


Nasdaq surged though the U.S. stock market halted. It tipped at 7909.75 before a correction back to 7880's at 15:53 ET.

HSI/HSI Warrants

Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Thursday, amid thin trade, as investors awaited developments around Sino-U.S. trade talks. Top representatives of the United States and China are organising a resumption of talks for next week to try to resolve a year-long trade war between the world’s two largest economies, Trump administration officials said on Wednesday.

The Hang Seng index fell 0.2%, to 28,795.77, while the China Enterprises Index lost 0.1%, to 10,913.39.
