HSI Futures

The S&P 500 index ended Thursday with its biggest one-day drop since May 17 as investors fled riskier assets in response to an exchange of threats between the United States and North Korea.

Hong Kong shares fell more than 1 percent on Thursday, mirroring losses in regional markets amid continued tensions over North Korea, and as investors booked profits after recent gains. Japan markets are closed for Mountain Day holiday today.

FCPO

FCPO produced a strong surge yesterday after breaching above 2652-level convincingly. Market however, could be jittery for the opening today after overnight bean flushed down to close way below its intraday highest level. It would be important for FCPO to hold above 2652 for a close today. Otherwise, more selling can be expected and send market towards the 2630-level once again.
