HSI Futures

A jump in materials shares helped U.S. stocks eke out a second straight day of gains on Thursday, though disappointing forecasts from retailers and anxiety ahead of Friday's jobs report limited the advance.

Hong Kong stocks rose on Thursday as energy shares surged on a rebound in oil prices, while an overnight tumble in the U.S. dollar eased fears of capital outflows. Hong Kong market will be close for three days starting on Monday in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations.

Plan A : Above 19322, do nothing
Plan B : Below 19097, do nothing
Plan C : Attempt buying if market stays strong above 19209
Plan D : Cut below 19134
Plan E : Consider intraday sell if market fails to break above 19322
Plan F : Cut above 19400


FKLI

Market was seen holding and surging fiercely yesterday, closing at 1650 level. Market is expected to remain firm today amid firmer RM. Some minor profit taking activities could kick in today before the long Chinese New Year holiday but should be well absorbed by eager buyers.

Plan A : Attempt buying if market stays firm above 1644
Plan B : Cut below 1639
Plan C : Consider intraday selling only around the 1672 level if it rallied but fails to break through
Plan D : Cut above 1674


FCPO

FCPO had wild-swing yesterday with initial gain to 2568, followed by a great tumble. No doubt it was a good range for intraday investor. Dalian and soybean oil are mixed while Ringgit rowing towards stronger RM vs U.S. Dollar. 


Plan A : Buy if market stabilized and supported above 2534. Targets are 2551 and 2565.
Plan B : Sell if market rebounded and resisted around 2551 or 2565. Targets are 2534 and 2523 and 2500.
Plan C : Above 2565, no fresh position.
Plan D : Below 2534, no fresh position.
