HSI Futures

The S&P 500 suffered its biggest daily drop since late September on Thursday as the European Central Bank disappointed market hopes for greater stimulus.

Hong Kong stocks weakened on Thursday, as investors assessed the effects of diverging global monetary policies after the market rallied this week on the Chinese yuan's global reserve currency status.

Plan A : Above 22620, do nothing
Plan B : Below 22314, do nothing
Plan C : Attempt selling if market fails to break above 22597 and triggers a sell
Plan D : Cut above 22597
Plan E : Consider buying if market holds firm above 22455 and surge
Plan F : Cut below 22314

FKLI

Market was visibly weak despite successfully rebounded from its low of 1651.5 and settled near day's high level. A 252-points drop in overnight Dow is definitely to cause FKLI to open lower today. Investors might want to wait for rebound to sell to avoid market being caught in the consolidation stage and having to sell at low level.

Plan A : Attempt selling around 1665 if market opens low
Plan B : Cut above 1670
Plan C : Consider intraday long if market test 1651.5 and rebounds
Plan D : Cut below 1650

FCPO

FCPO continue to move upwards on Thursday after the low triggering at 2317 two days ago. Dalian and soybean oil are quite mixed today with Ringgit stays at RM4.22 against the US Dollar. Market might open higher today as overnight soybean oil went up quite a bit.

Plan A : Sell if market opened high and resisted at 2374 or 2484. Targets are 2361, 2350 and 2339. Only applies to opening.
Plan B : Buy if market supported above 2350. Targets are 2384, 2403 and 2431.
Plan C : Above 2380, no fresh position.
Plan D : Below 2350, no fresh position.
