HSI Futures

The S&P 500 posted its best monthly gain since October 2011 on Friday, but U.S. stocks ended lower for the day as U.S. economic growth slowed more sharply than initially thought in the fourth quarter.

Hong Kong shares finished down on Friday as investors awaited clearer signals on the direction of China's monetary policy and industrial growth, ending a week on a flat note. Market will be digesting an interest rate cut by the People's Bank of China on Saturday. The Chinese central bank cut the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 5.35 percent and reduced the benchmark saving rate by a similar margin to 2.5 percent. China's PMI data for Feb too will be released at 9.45 am this morning.

Plan A : Above 25096, do nothing
Plan B : Below 24703, do nothing
Plan C : Consider selling if market fails to break above 24952 and triggers a sell
Plan D : Cut above 25096
Plan E : Attempt buying if market stays firm above 24703 and triggers a buy
Plan F : Cut below 24703


FKLI

Market continue to surge higher amid firmer buying from enthusiastic investors. Market should be able to hold firm today as long as it stays resilient above 1820. Resistances at 1830 and 1836 could be tested some time this week, pending any negative surprise.

Plan A : Continue to hold long as long as it stays firm above 1820
Plan B : Cut below 1815
Plan C : Consider intraday sell if market test 1836 and fails to breach through
Plan D : Cut above 1844


FCPO

FCPO broke through the resistance and rallied to high of 2321 last Friday. With the strong rebound from the Dalian and soybean oil markets, CPO leaped. Ringgit remains weak at RM 3.62 against the greenback.

Plan A : Overnight buyer hold on to position. Support is looking at 2305. Target is 2395 and 2467.
Plan B : Intraday investor may buy if market support above 2310. Target is 2357 and 2379
Plan C : Seller may stay out.
Plan D : Above 2340, do nothing.
Plan E : Below 2310, do nothing.
