HSI Futures

U.S. stocks fell on Tuesday, with selling picking up late in the session, as investors cashed in some of the recent market gains, but the S&P 500 finished less than 1 percent away from a record high set last week.


Hong Kong shares lingered at a one-month low on Tuesday, in spite of Chinese snack maker Want Want jumping 4.6 percent after posting at midday full-year 2013 net profit that was broadly in line with expectations.


Holding a long

Plan A : 22081-22450, do nothing
Plan B : Below 22081, cut
Plan C : Above 22450, consider taking profit first
Plan D : Only consider selling if market fails to break above 22368
Plan E : Cut above 22450

FKLI could go for another range bound trading with bias more towards downside


Plan A : Attempt selling between 1825-1828

Plan B : Cut above 1830
Plan C: Consider buying only if market holds firm above 1815
Plan D : Cut below 1812

Market has eventually showed some sell signal at the very last hour. Fresh buyer suspected to have ceased in the past two days. Seller may take over the role from now on.


Plan A : Long term seller could try to sell around 2860's to 2870's, taking resistance at 2885 and 2902. Profit target looking at 2818 and 2784.
Plan B : Intraday investor could sell around 2870's. Resistance looking at 2885 and profit target looking at 2818.
Plan C : Buyer may want to stay out of market.
Plan D : Above 2902, do nothing.
Plan E : Below 2810, do nothing.
