HSI Futures

U.S. stocks rose across the board on Tuesday, with a jump in oil and a rally in Amazon.com helping propel the S&P 500 to its best day in two months.

Hong Kong shares finished higher on Tuesday as a strong afternoon performance by technology and finance shares helped offset weakness in energy stocks which weighed on indices in the morning.

Market did a remarkable rebound from a low of 1610.5 yesterday. FKLI is expected to open little changed despite strong showing from overnight Dow as FKLI already made a fierce rebound yesterday. However, the lingering issues of 1MDB will likely cap further strong gains today.

FCPO had wild swing yesterday regaining the earlier losses towards the closing bell. Dalian and overnight soybean oil are relatively strong while Ringgit remain weak at RM4.04 against the greenback.
