HSI Futures

U.S. stocks edged up in a volatile session on Thursday, with the Dow and S&P 500 hitting fresh record closing highs on an indication that the European Central Bank would take more policy action if needed to boost a struggling euro zone economy. 

Hong Kong shares fell on Thursday, dampened by consolidation after recent rallies and uncertainty over the progress of a cross-border share scheme between Shanghai and the city.

Plan C : Above 24113, take profits if market couldn't sustain
Plan D : Consider intraday sell if market fails to break above 23807 and retrace

Market officially triggered a sell signal yesterday, testing an intraday low of 1831.5 before settling at 1835.5. Market could recover a little today if it were to follow leads from overnight Dow and other Asian markets. However, gains could be limited as investors might be waiting to sell whenever there's a rebound in the market.

Plan A : Attempt sell if market fails to break above 1841
Plan B : Cut above 1845
Plan C : Consider intraday buy if market dips but holds firm above 1825.5
Plan D : Cut below 1822


FCPO

FCPO broke below several major supports yesterday, triggering panic selling along the way. Market however, could open slightly higher today after bean and dalian market showing positive signs thus far. Technical rebounds could kick in today but gains could be capped after sentiments got beaten down.

Plan A : Attempt selling if market fails to break above 2247
Plan B : Cut above 2255
Plan C : Consider intraday buy only if market supports firmly above 2213
Plan D : Cut below 2197
